About Us
Jon: I grew up in San Diego. It's my home. After working in the Environmental Consulting field, I along with Ammie, joined the staff of Cru in 1999. We ministered in Santa Barbara and later gave leadership to global missions for a decade, which later took us to Dublin, Ireland for a couple of years. I enjoy setting the table for others to encounter God, connecting people for strategic impact, and diving into the process of spiritual formation.
Ammie: I'm from Lakewood, CA and grew up in the same house until I left home to attend UC Santa Barbara, where I met Jon. I enjoyed three years of teaching before joining Cru. I've always had a heart for helping people, but God's vision for me was much greater than I had imagined. I enjoy shepherding women in their walks with God and coaching young leaders. I also love being a mom to our three kids-they make life such an adventure!
Gavin: I'm 22 years old. I'm a people person and I like to be the life of the party. I enjoy surfing, being with friends, playing guitar and serving. I'm a student at San Diego State studying communications.
Braden: I'm 19 years old. I like to compete and enjoy playing volleyball. I'm at Mira Costa Community college and hope to transfer somewhere to study Business Finance.
Teagan: I'm 15 years old and a freshman at Mission Vista High School. I love to be creative through singing, playing guitar or piano. I also enjoy volleyball and keeping up with whatever my brothers are doing.
